The Jempson Foundation are sponsoring it’s a ChaRYEity Knockout, a Family Fun day down in Rye RFC on Saturday 3rd September organised by Rye, Winchelsea & District Memorial Hospital, the last of four events they are holding over the Summer.

“This was a request from the children on the School Council who asked if a bird hide, binoculars and other learning resources could be purchased for the Wildlife Garden here at the School. Lockdown saw many children become interested in birdwatching and we use this space during lunchtimes and Wildlife Club. The Jempson Foundation are very pleased to make a donation to Warming up the Homeless, a Charity based in Bexhill on Sea who support vulnerable men, women and children who are experiencing homelessness, food poverty and social isolation.

“This donation will go towards the Jubilee Party we are organising for up to 55 homeless children, who are currently living in emergency accommodation hostels. They will have had their whole life turned upside down so to give them some normality at this time will be so good.
