When Edward and Dale founded COOK, it was a two-man business. Dale cooked the food; Ed sold it at the shop. Although they were small, they had big ambitions: to create the world’s greatest frozen meals, while being a force for good in society.
Nearly 20 years later, a lot has changed … but their goal remains the same. COOK still makes all of their meals by hand from carefully-sourced ingredients at their kitchen in Sittingbourne, Kent.
The name of the chef who cooks each batch is printed on the label. Their meals have received rave reviews and they have won numerous Great Taste Awards and remain proudly independent, just like Jempson’s.
